Using the Google Docs form is a wonderful way to assess students. Once they submit the form, student results are collected in a Google Docs spreadsheet. Google docs templates
Did you know that there are doc templates germane to specific curricular areas and grade levels? Once your Google Docs are open, use the CREATE drop down menu and select template gallery. then click on Public Templates.
Type in your grade level or subject area in the search box and click on Search Templates. There are treasures waiting to be found! |

National Weather Service warnings in real time
Download a Google Earth file that will give you real time data on hurricanes, tornadoes and flash flood warnings. Once the file comes up in Google Earth, make sure that the Weather Layer is checked. |
