Math Teachers...the newest set of Stella's Stunners is now available

Set number 13 has just been published. All of the problems can be downloaded, copied and pasted into your formative assessements.  Stella's Stunners is a collection of more than 600 nonroutine mathematics problems. Problems range from simple visual problems, requiring no specific mathematical background, to problems that use the content of pre-algebra up through pre-calculus.

Who designed the transatlantic cable?

When you mention the name Samuel Finley Breese Morse to people, they immediately think of the telegraph.  Did you know that in the 1850's he submitted a design for the transatlantic cable?
