Conflict in Libya; lesson plans and maps

On March 17, 2011, the United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution  that authorizes the creation of a no-fly zone over Libya in response to the ongoing conflict between supporters of longtime leader Colonel Moammar Gadhafi's government and opposition forces.
