I just wanted to point you to some information about the new compose window that is rolling out over the next few weeks or so. It allows you to search past Emails as you compose your Email, compose two Emails at once, as well as minimize drafts for later.
The first time you click compose, or reply, you should see a window pop-up asking you if you would like to try the new compose window or try it later. You can pick.
